There are countless books on attitude out there. Why do I recommend this one?
One reason: It’s written by John C. Maxwell.
When he came to Singapore as a featured speaker in a business conference, I knew Muslims who paid serious money to attend the conference and hear him speak. And they did so because they knew what he had to share was going to seriously improve their lives.
But does this book have anything to do with the worship ministry? Check out what Maxwell wrote about...
The Heart of the Artist - Rory Noland
This is a great book to have, especially for the worship ministry.
Yeah, I know this sounds obvious to others, but it wasn't for me. You, see, for me worship music is not an artistic endeavor. The difference between music for art's sake and worship music is as large as the difference between driving for a Formula One race and driving a schoolbus of kids to school...

People in the Presence of God - Barry Liesch
Let me tell the story of how this book first came to my hands.
I thought it was going to be a typical Sunday.
I was wrong.
My band wasn’t playing for the service, so it was no surprise for me to find two of my fellow teammates at the church bookshop after the service. Only those who are really serious about the worship ministry. I think this final copy has been divinely kept for you.”

Laugh Again - Charles Swindoll
This book is:
1) An encouragement to weary souls;
2) A practical guide to experiencing the joy of the Lord in our daily lives; AND
3) A powerful Scriptural exposition of the Book of Philippians
I first read this book at the time of my Christian life when I was beginning to get serious about living for God. At that time I read many Christian books, some of which I threw away when I realized they were not helpful (or Scriptural) and many which had little impact after I finished reading them.
Laugh Again, by Charles Swindoll, was different...

Dynamic Duo - Rick Renner
This book will give you a practical, scriptural understanding to how to live the Spirit-filled AND Spirit-led life.
And this book does that through Rick Renner’s distinctive blend of Bible teaching, exploration of the New Testament Greek, and personal testimony and experiences.
When you study this book, you will not only be shown allos parakletos (which you can get from many other books on the Holy Spirit in our lives), but also many others, such as epichoregeo, boulemai and katokizo. All in reference to what the Bible reveals of the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives.
And all explained in a pragmatic way that shows what they mean for us, right here and now, if we are serious in living the Spirit-filled and Spirit-led life we are meant to live.
